Either your download  Speed is slow or your connection is unstable.  This is a common problem

Yes, this downloading problem is specifically on itch.io . I tried downloading this and several other games on this site. I can download fine on other sites.

Basically any game I try to download though itch end up failing or if finishing (rarely) it's corrupted. I use to run into this problem every so often so use alternate download mode; but now it doesn't work at all. I tried downloading on different browsers, devices, and internet connection .  Did all the troubleshooting that might solve the problem but no luck. Sigh the mess up part is that I'm not the only one with this problem. It slowly growing problem for some users on this site.  I want to make suggestion to devs to have alternate download site for users with this problem. ( sorry for all the spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors)

Hello all, got a question I wanted to ask you about itch. Have you been having some problems downloading games from the site?

Link to the affected game page- any game 

Size of the file and filename you’re attempting to download- any size

Was the file recently uploaded? (If so, when?)- I don't know 

Was the file uploaded using Butler? (This is only relevant for page owners) - I don't know 

Your geographical location (if you’re comfortable sharing)- Usa

A brief summary of the issue - does the download cut out? Slow down? etc. - download normally until it reaches 20%. First download will slow down but, keeps downloading until 25% - 35%. 

Are you downloading via the app or through your browser?- Chrome and internet explorer 

Side note: tried to use alternate download mode but download never started when active
